Experience a full-day sailing yacht cruise to Kleftiko, one of the island’s most impressive sea landmarks. Departing from Adamas Port, this boat tour takes you along the volcanic coastline, with swimming stops in crystal-clear waters and visits to sea caves and remote beaches.
Kleftiko can only be properly explored by boat, and this sailing cruise gives you the opportunity to swim inside caves, snorkel in turquoise bays and enjoy the natural beauty of Milos away from crowded beaches.
USEFUL INFORMATION
The cruise starts at 10:00 from Adamas Port, the main port of Milos.
We sail along the coastline passing the historic Christian Catacombs and the picturesque fishing villages of Skinopi, Klima, Areti and Fourkovouni, where the colorful “Sirmata” houses create a unique Cycladic landscape. We then reach Arkoudes, two impressive bear-shaped rock formations at the entrance of the bay.
Continuing along the west coast of Milos, we approach Cape Vani, a majestic volcanic rock formation with an old abandoned manganese mine overlooking the sea.
Our first swimming stop is Kalogries, a small natural bay formed by lava rocks, offering crystal-clear turquoise waters ideal for relaxation and snorkeling.
Next, we arrive at Kleftiko, the most famous sea landmark of Milos, once used as a pirate hideout. Here you can swim, snorkel and explore the spectacular white caves and emerald waters accessible only by boat.
Leaving Kleftiko, we sail towards Sykia Cave, a hidden volcanic cave with a partially collapsed roof that creates a natural skylight over a protected indoor pool.
Our final stop is Agios Dimitrios, a quiet and protected cove with a small chapel, perfect for relaxing before our return journey.
We return to Adamas Port at approximately 17:00.
